The Pause that Refreshes?

For the past couple of months I have paused the development of Geaux Parade. This was primarily due to the chaos surrounding the entire tariff situation. With most board and card game printing being done in China the prospect of having to pay an over 100% tariff was simply not an option. Now that there seems to some sanity returning I have restarted the development process.

Currently Geaux Parade is about 95% complete. I am working on some minor updates to the card artwork and coordinating with the four Marching Groups that will be featured in the game. Once I have their approval for the artwork I will be finalizing the selection of the company that will produce the game. My goal is to have the game produced, shipped, and ready for sale by Thanksgiving this year.

Playtesting Geaux Parade at the Southern Board Game Festival

Pothole! The second game from Gentilly Games is mechanically complete. The play testing at the Southern Board Game Festival was great! Based on the anonymous feedback forms I received, I think it is ready to move to final artwork and graphic design.
